Renderer-compromise memory disclosure via keyboard-input side channel
Published Aug 12, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Side-channel information leakage in Google Chrome before 104.0.5112.79 allows remote attackers to read process memory via crafted HTML. Google has not disclosed how the keyboard-input implementation exposes memory contents to a compromised renderer process. Exploitation requires a crafted page, user interaction, and prior renderer compromise; the reported consequence is sensitive-memory disclosure.
