Authenticated data access via missing transaction authorization
Published Mar 8, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authorization in SAP NetWeaver AS for ABAP 700, 701, 702, and 731 allows remote authenticated users to access transaction start screens. The transaction launch path exposes start-screen content without checking that the logged-in user is authorized for the requested transaction. Any authenticated account can reach available transactions in the same SAP system, exposing information and permitting limited data changes before the start screen runs.
