Weak IV generation in Intel Cryptography Primitives Library before 2021.5 allows local users to disclose protected information. Intel states that the library generates weak initialization vectors but does not identify the affected routine, algorithm, or entropy failure. Local access and high-complexity conditions are required; Intel does not identify the protected data exposed by the cryptographic weakness.
