CVE-2022-26077Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Credential disclosure via cleartext configuration traffic

Published May 25, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Cleartext credential transmission in OAS Platform 16.00.0112 allows remote attackers to capture configuration credentials. The OAS Engine sends configuration traffic over TCP port 58727 without encryption and embeds usernames with Base64 password hashes in authenticated requests. An attacker positioned to sniff that traffic can reuse the captured values to issue additional credential-protected configuration commands.
