Authenticated code execution via unguarded extension methods
Published Aug 1, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Remote code execution in Titra before 0.79.1 allows remote authenticated users to run server code through extension methods. The addExtension and launchExtension Meteor methods check only for an authenticated session, allowing non-administrators to upload extension code that launchExtension passes to eval. A basic authenticated account is sufficient; successful abuse executes attacker-supplied JavaScript in the server process and exposes application data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
