Stack-based buffer overflow in kwatch3 in KINGSOFT Internet Security 9 Plus 2010.06.23.247 allows local users to gain privileges. The kernel-mode driver processes crafted local input without adequate bounds handling, overflowing its stack after shellcode is placed in memory. A nonprivileged user must already be able to log on to the Windows host; successful exploitation grants administrative privileges and kernel-mode code execution.
