OS command injection in Simen Li mt7688-wiscan before 0.8.3 allows local users to execute commands through a crafted interface name. The wiscan.scan function passes the interface argument into child_process.exec as part of an iwinfo command without neutralizing shell metacharacters after its first character. Exploitation requires a caller that exposes that argument, and injected commands run with the privileges of the Node.js process.
