Regular expression denial of service in Bradley Meck cookiejar before 2.1.4 allows remote attackers to stall applications via cookie input. Cookie.parse and related cookie APIs apply an inefficient regular expression to attacker-controlled values, causing excessive processing as crafted input grows. Reachability requires a consuming application to pass untrusted cookie values or request-header data into these APIs, tying up its event loop for extended periods.
