Cross-site scripting in Svelte before 3.49.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in users' browsers through crafted SSR attributes. The SSR attribute helpers escaped only strings, so an object bypassed escaping and injected markup when its custom toString result was serialized. Exploitation requires an application to place attacker-controlled objects into SSR attributes and a user to view the rendered page; script runs in the application's origin.
