Code execution via malformed DWG decoding
Published Apr 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Memory corruption in Autodesk DWG TrueView 2019 through 2022 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted DWG file. The DWG decoder applies an improper bounds check to malformed drawing data, causing out-of-bounds memory access that corrupts process memory. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, and resulting code runs in the context of the DWG TrueView process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
