Stack-based buffer overflow in Autodesk 3ds Max 2020, 2021, and 2022 allows context-dependent attackers to execute code via a crafted ABC file. The ABC parser fails to validate a user-supplied length before copying data into a fixed-length stack buffer. Exploitation requires user interaction that causes the file to be parsed and can run arbitrary code in the 3ds Max process.
