Code execution via unvalidated DWF parsing
Published Apr 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Memory corruption in Autodesk AutoCAD 2019 through 2022 and Navisworks 2019, 2020, and 2022 allows remote attackers to execute code. The DWF parser fails to validate user-supplied file data before processing it, producing a memory-corruption condition in the current process. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file, and successful execution inherits the affected application's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Public exploit references
No public exploit references are available in this record.
Labels summarize the accepted research assessment. They do not indicate a test against your environment.
