Authenticated file disclosure via unvalidated remote asset URLs
Published Sep 18, 2024 · Updated Sep 18, 2024
SSRF in Mautic's Asset section 1.0.0-beta4 through 4.4.11 and 5.0.1 through 5.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to read system files. AssetType accepts the remotePath value without a URL constraint, and the asset API fetches file URLs such as file:///etc/passwd. A user with high-privilege Mautic authentication can submit a remote asset URL to disclose host files or reach internal application addresses.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
