Authenticated SQL injection via crafted id parameter
Published Jul 29, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Garage Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries via edituser.php. The edituser.php endpoint processes the id parameter as SQL syntax, so a UNION SELECT payload changes the database query rather than remaining data. A valid low-privilege session is required; successful exploitation reads or modifies data available to the application's database account.
