Arbitrary command execution via shell-built URL argument

Command injection in PDFKit before 0.8.7.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary operating-system commands through a crafted URL. PDFKit builds a shell command string for wkhtmltopdf and inserts the insufficiently escaped source URL as an argument, allowing shell syntax to alter the command. Exposure requires a calling application to pass an attacker-controlled URL into PDFKit; injected commands run with that application's privileges.
