Unauthenticated information disclosure via packet checksum over-read

Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon modem firmware allows remote attackers to disclose memory by sending a crafted network packet. The modem checksum routine reads beyond the received packet buffer while calculating a checksum, accessing memory outside the packet's bounds. No authentication or user interaction is required; the documented consequence is memory disclosure, with no reported ability to modify data.
