Remote service interruption via missing null check
Published Feb 9, 2023 · Updated Mar 24, 2025
Denial of service in Qualcomm Snapdragon modem components allows remote attackers to interrupt service via padded IP packets. The Data Network Stack and Connectivity code processes IP packet padding without a required null check, causing a loop with no reachable exit. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is limited to availability loss rather than data disclosure or modification.
