Memory corruption via unchecked WLAN key copy
Published Sep 16, 2022 · Updated Jun 4, 2025
Buffer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon Connectivity and Snapdragon Mobile allows remote attackers to corrupt memory through WLAN key data. The closed-source WLAN key parser copies untrusted key data into a buffer without first checking the input size. No privileges or user interaction are required, but Qualcomm has not disclosed whether exploitation causes code execution, data access, or a service interruption.
