Memory corruption via invalid I2C address configuration

Improper input validation in Qualcomm Snapdragon Mobile and Snapdragon Wearables allows local users to corrupt memory through I2C configuration. The proprietary I2C bus driver reads address configuration without adequately validating it, leading to an out-of-bounds write. Local access to an affected chipset is required, and Qualcomm has not disclosed whether corruption causes a crash or enables code execution.
