A reachable assertion in the modem on Qualcomm Snapdragon Mobile Platforms allows remote attackers to crash modem service. Qualcomm has not disclosed the assertion site or the untrusted modem input that reaches it because the affected component is proprietary. Network access requires no authentication or user interaction, and successful triggering interrupts modem availability without reported data exposure or modification.
