Video service interruption via improper receiver access

Improper access control in Qualcomm Snapdragon video broadcast receivers allows local users to interrupt video service on affected chipsets. Qualcomm identifies the locus as video broadcast receivers but has not disclosed which authorization check is missing or which input triggers the failure. Local users require no privileges or user interaction, and the documented consequence is limited to loss of video availability.
