Modem service interruption via reachable filter-rule assertion

A reachable assertion in the data modem on listed Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms allows local users to interrupt service through a filter rule. The modem processes a filter rule supplied by an application client and reaches an assertion instead of rejecting the triggering rule safely. Exploitation requires local low-privilege application access and no user interaction; Qualcomm does not state whether interruption is a crash, hang, or reboot.
