Cryptographic failure in Qualcomm Snapdragon WLAN firmware allows remote attackers to compromise WPA/WPA2 traffic confidentiality and integrity. The flaw occurs during the WPA/WPA2 group key handshake, but Qualcomm has not disclosed the faulty cryptographic operation or message handling in the proprietary WLAN component. No authentication or user interaction is required; exploitation permits limited disclosure or modification of protected WLAN traffic without interrupting service.
