CVE-2022-25651Network attack vector

Memory corruption via HFP-UNIT integer overflow

Published Jun 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Integer overflow in the Bluetooth Host on affected Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via HFP-UNIT traffic. The Bluetooth Host mishandles an integer calculation while processing the HFP-UNIT profile, causing memory corruption. Exploitation requires a reachable HFP-UNIT processing path; no authentication or user interaction is required, and code execution is not publicly confirmed.
