OS command injection in NEC UNIVERGE WA firmware 8.2.11 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through maintenance consoles. The system maintenance feature accepts a special string or crafted URL request through its local, remote, or web console and reaches OS command execution. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation can also interrupt service on the appliance.
