Arbitrary SQL execution via ticket ordering parameter
Published Aug 29, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Fluent Support before 1.5.8 allows remote authenticated users with Administrator access to execute arbitrary SQL. The ticket-list REST route places a crafted order_by value into a database query without adequate validation, escaping, or parameterization. A valid REST nonce and at least one support ticket are required; successful exploitation can read or alter the WordPress database or interrupt service.
