Memory corruption via oversized list parameter
Published Mar 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC6 firmware 15.03.05.09_multi allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted request. The SetIpMacBind handler processes an oversized list parameter without an effective bounds check, overwriting its stack buffer. Network access without authentication or user interaction is sufficient; public evidence does not establish whether exploitation ends in a crash or code execution.
