Published Feb 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in MaxSite CMS allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The /admin/files interface stores f_file_description in the database and later renders it without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires an authenticated file-description update and later administrator interaction; public records conflict between versions 180 and 108.
