Cross-account script execution via unsanitized request descriptions
Published Apr 5, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Zoho ManageEngine SupportCenter Plus before 11020 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in another user's browser. The request description accepts unsanitized HTML, stores it, and renders it in the request edit history, where an event-handler payload executes. A low-privileged account, including the default guest user, can plant the payload, but another user must view the history; execution then inherits that viewer's application context.
