Arbitrary file deletion in WatchGuard Firebox and XTM appliances allows remote attackers to delete files from limited system directories. WatchGuard has not disclosed the affected endpoint, request field, or file-selection logic that permits deletion from the restricted directory set. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is bounded to deleting files from those directories.
