Path traversal in awful-salmonella-tar before 0.0.4 allows remote attackers to list server directories via encoded parent paths. The path handler checks safe-path? for files but passed directory requests to render-dir without validating ..%2F traversal segments. Exposure requires the web application to serve attacker-controlled paths, and listings are limited to directories executable by the server account; file contents cannot be read.
