Unauthenticated service interruption via failhtmfile manipulation
Published Apr 20, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Denial of service in the Olivetti d-COLOR MF3555 web application on firmware 2XD_S000.002.271 allows remote attackers to interrupt it. The /download/set.cgi handler accepts an attacker-controlled failhtmfile value in a POST request, but published records do not disclose the faulty internal operation. Network access to the device's web interface is the only reported gate, and the documented consequence is service interruption rather than data access or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
