Unauthenticated SQL execution via crafted O33 parameter
Published Feb 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in ZEROF Web Server 2.0 allows remote attackers to execute SQL through a crafted O33 value sent to /HandleEvent. The /HandleEvent handler places the POST body’s O33 value into a MySQL statement without neutralizing SQL metacharacters. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation can disclose database contents, alter stored data, and execute code in the server context.
