Broken access control in Octopus Server allows remote authenticated users with FeedView permission to upload packages after re-indexing. The vendor discloses that re-indexing causes the built-in feed upload path to accept FeedView-only service accounts but does not identify the affected code. A service account with FeedView permission and network access can add package content to the built-in feed despite lacking upload rights.
