Unauthorized data modification via incorrect form access checks
Published Apr 26, 2023 · Updated Feb 3, 2025
Improper access control in Drupal core 8.0.0 through 9.3.18 and 9.4.0 through 9.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to alter restricted data. Drupal states only that the Form API evaluates form-element access incorrectly and has not published the responsible code path or operation. Exposure requires a contributed or custom module or theme to provide an affected form; Drupal core supplies no form known to expose the flaw.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
