Executable space protection bypass via missing PT_GNU_STACK

Linux kernel through 5.16.10 allows local users to execute bytes in non-executable binary regions via missing PT_GNU_STACK metadata. On IA32-compatible x86, the ELF loader marks binaries without this header exec-all, granting read-write-execute permissions across the image. Exploitation requires a deliberately crafted or historically built 32-bit binary and can defeat NX protections to run attacker-controlled code.
