Browser script execution via reflected SAML RelayState
Published Feb 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in JetBrains Hub before 2021.1.14276 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser via a crafted URL. The SAML REST endpoint places an attacker-controlled RelayState value into an HTML response without neutralizing event-handler markup. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted SAML URL; the resulting script can read or alter data available to that Hub browser session.
