Vendor currency disclosure via unauthenticated servlet action
Published Apr 5, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authentication in ServiceDesk Plus before 13001 and AssetExplorer before 6971 allows remote attackers to read vendor currencies. The approval login URL exposes a getVendorCurrency action without authentication, and AJaxDomainServlet returns data for a caller-supplied vendorId. Remote attackers need only reach the web application and know or enumerate a vendor identifier; the reported result is limited to currency identifiers.
