Database disclosure via injectable transaction identifier
Published Mar 23, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Money Transfer Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via the id parameter. The transaction detail handler treats the mtms/admin/?page=transaction/view_details id value as SQL syntax instead of binding it as data. An authenticated staff or administrator session is required, and the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized database disclosure rather than code execution or service interruption.
