Stored XSS in Jenkins Promoted Builds (Simple) Plugin 1.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script via custom promotion names. The plugin stores custom promotion-level names without escaping them before rendering in Jenkins pages, allowing attacker-controlled markup to execute when a privileged user views the affected content. Exploitation requires Overall/Administer permission and user interaction with the rendered page; the consequence is bounded to script execution in that user's Jenkins session.
