Missing authorization in Jenkins SCP publisher Plugin 1.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to initiate attacker-chosen SSH connections. The affected form-validation method omits a permission check and accepts an attacker-specified SSH host, username, and password before attempting the connection. Overall/Read permission is sufficient, and a successful request causes the Jenkins controller to contact the chosen server with the supplied credentials.
