CVE-2022-25194Network attack vector

Attacker-directed outbound requests via CSRF-prone endpoint

Published Feb 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in Jenkins Autonomiq Plugin 1.15 and earlier allows remote attackers to make the controller contact a chosen URL. The doFillProjectItems HTTP endpoint accepts GET requests without POST enforcement and uses supplied URL, username, and password values for the outbound connection. Exploitation requires user interaction with an attacker-crafted request; a successful request makes the Jenkins controller connect to an attacker-selected server with attacker-supplied credentials.
