CVE-2022-25180Network attack vector

Password disclosure via replayed build parameters

Published Feb 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Password disclosure in Jenkins Pipeline: Groovy Plugin 2648.va9433432b33c and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read prior build secrets. The replay path copies password parameters from the original Pipeline build into the replayed build instead of excluding secret-valued parameters. Run/Replay permission and a prior build containing a password parameter are required, exposing only those stored parameter values.
