CVE-2022-25151Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Session hijacking via JavaScript-readable authentication cookies

Published Jun 8, 2022 · Updated Mar 11, 2025

Sensitive-cookie exposure in ITarian before 6.35.37347.20040 allows remote attackers to hijack Service Desk sessions via XSS. The platform issues OSTSESSID and SSO token session cookies without HttpOnly, so injected JavaScript can read and exfiltrate them. Exploitation requires the optional Service Desk module, a successful XSS payload, and a user who opens or previews the crafted ticket; a stolen token grants access to the ticketing system or MSP dashboard.
