Database disclosure via unescaped IP query
Published Feb 24, 2022 · Updated Jan 31, 2025
SQL injection in VeronaLabs WP Statistics 13.1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to read database data through the REST hit endpoint. The visitor lookup in includes/class-wp-statistics-visitor.php interpolates the unescaped IP parameter into a quoted SQL string passed to $wpdb->get_row instead of using a prepared query. Cache Compatibility must be enabled, and the public page nonce permits unauthenticated time-based inference of sensitive database contents.
