Sensitive-data disclosure via unparameterized page identifier
Published Feb 24, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in VeronaLabs WP Statistics 13.1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to read sensitive database data via current_page_id. The hit REST handler interpolates current_page_id into the page lookup query without parameterization, letting supplied SQL alter its WHERE clause. The endpoint is reachable without authentication only when Cache Compatibility is enabled, and an exposed page nonce permits time-based queries.
