Remote command execution via crafted MQTT packet
Published Feb 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Command injection in TOTOLINK T6 firmware 4.1.5cu.748_B20211015 allows remote attackers to execute commands via a crafted MQTT packet. Public records identify recv_mesh_info_sync as the vulnerable locus but do not disclose the MQTT field or command-building operation. Network access to the MQTT service is sufficient; no authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants command execution on the router.
