Unauthenticated command execution via crafted MQTT packets
Published Feb 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Command injection in TOTOLINK T6 firmware 4.1.5cu.748_B20211015 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via MQTT. The isAssocPriDevice function forwards attacker-controlled content from a crafted MQTT packet to command execution without neutralizing command syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation permits arbitrary command execution on the router.
