Reflected XSS via unneutralized title parameter
Published Jul 22, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Reflected cross-site scripting in BlueSpice 4 before 4.1.3 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary HTML through a crafted page URL. The commonuserinterface component places the URL title parameter into a regular page without neutralizing attacker-supplied markup, so the browser renders the injected HTML. The attack requires a user to open the crafted URL and exposes browser-accessible data within the BlueSpice origin.
