Database disclosure via unparameterized member ID query
Published Feb 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Home Owners Collection Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data via the id parameter. Line 68 of admin/members/view_member.php interpolates id directly into a SELECT statement without parameterization, escaping, or validation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated time-based blind technique can infer database contents within the database account's permissions.
